In a variety of action movies that she appeared in, she was in the team, and was featured in Yes, Madam! She was an admired and adored kung fu movie actor who starred in Hong Kong. Her fame was based on her skill, elegance, and unpredictability in stunts.

In 1997, she was awarded an award for the Best Actress Award at the SAG Awards.

Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh was the first Asian actress to be given an award known as the Best Actress Award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 1997. She was awarded the prize after she won over Cate Blanchett and Danielle Deadwyler.

Yeoh is a Malaysian native living in Ipoh. She was an accomplished dancer, and was previously seen as a Chinese character in James Bond’s “Tomorrow Never Dies.” The athletic talent of her character was a major draw, and she was well-known for performing her own action scenes and martial arts scenes.

Then, following her breakthrough performance, she became one of the most recognizable Asian performers around the world. Her work has earned her numerous recognitions in her professional career, like awards like the Golden Globe, BAFTA and the National Board of Review trophy.
